Craig Patterson joins Castlebridge Hospitality from Cycas Hospitality to lead the company’s next phase of growth
Castlebridge Hospitality, the privately-owned hotel management company behind several boutique properties across England, has appointed Craig Patterson as its new Managing Director.
Patterson joins from Cycas Hospitality, where he served as Chief Development Officer and played a key role in expanding the company’s European footprint. In his new position, he’ll oversee Castlebridge’s overall strategy and operational performance while working with parent company Somerston Group to identify new opportunities in the hospitality sector.
A Portfolio of Character Hotels
For travellers who appreciate hotels with local character, Castlebridge’s portfolio will be familiar. The Warwickshire-based company manages several Hotel Indigo properties—a brand known for reflecting the personality of its neighbourhood—including locations in Bath, Chester, Coventry, and Stratford-upon-Avon. The group also operates the voco Winchester Hotel & Spa and a Holiday Inn Express in southern Spain.
“I am delighted to have joined Castlebridge Hospitality at such an exciting stage in its evolution,” Patterson said. “The business has a clear vision, strong backing and a compelling platform for growth.”
James Hooker of Somerston Group added that Patterson’s track record in hotel development and operational excellence makes him well-suited to lead the business through its next phase of expansion.
